Building Healthy Communities

Building Healthy Communities: Engaging middle schools through Project Healthy Schools is a healthy middle school transformation program, supported and sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and the University of Michigan. Project Healthy Schools currently operates in over 30 schools in southeast Michigan and will be expanding to eight more schools starting in the 2013-2014 school year! The program is valued at over $100,000 over three years at no cost to partner schools.

The application deadline is May 6th and the eight selected schools will be notified of award by May 31st. Please see the program description and application here.
